Accumalating Snow Forecasted for Boone and NC High Country

For most areas this will be the first snowfall of the season. Snow should begin Thursday afternoon with the highest accumalations Thursday evening through early Friday. Highest amounts will be in the higher elevations near the Tenn/NC line. Elevations below 3,500 ft will see the lower amounts (1" or less).
